RECENT PROJECTS

CLIMBING FRAME
The 11ft climbing frame was a private commission that aims to
adapt with the family. It contains a climbing wall, a rope climb wall, and a ladder that transforms into monkey-bars. Inside is a floating central platform, a climbing rope to allow access to the interior top platform, and port-hole windows. The two climbing walls can be reversed to create more of a challenge as the children get older. The main frame was made from Kent hop-poles. All walls can be removed to create a pergola with the idea of allowing climbing plants to engulf the structure.

SHIPWRECKED
A private commission for a nightclub as the entranceway to a venue that was being used as a cafe/comedy-club/nightclub. The theme of shipwrecked was chosen because the venue was on the Isle of Wight during Cowes Week (sailing regatta).
the location for the structure was right on the High Street and therefore had to be weatherproof and strong enough to cope with hundreds of partying people.
The structure was built from mainly recycled timber, pallets etc. and it also included notice/blackboards.

CLIVE
Clive was built to celebrate ten years of Strange Cargo Arts Co. The company invited all the artists who had worked for the company to create a piece for an exhibition.

Clive was built over a three week period. He is made from many bicycle parts. He has a crank handle which opens and closes his mouth, moves his fins. He has twelve volt lights set into his eyes and lure which were operated by a push button timed switch.
